Dubarry began in 1937 in a small town called Ballinasloe, in the heart of Galway on Ireland’s beautiful West Coast. The company’s beginnings were in the design and manufacturing of fine leather shoes and soon developed a reputation for excellent workmanship and quality. Dubarry takes much design inspiration from the wild West Coast and Galway’s great sailing heritage to motivate and create superb deck shoes and sailing boots using the finest performance materials available. Over the years Dubarry has grown an international sourcing network, working closely with carefully selected partners who share the same high standards and desire to work with the best of components, raw materials and unique designs.
